Rumour has surfaced today relating to the American and European future of Ura Zelda and the GameCube remake of Ocarina of Time, both of which will be gifted to Japanese gamers who pre-order Legend of Zelda for GameCube.
According to chatter, both games will see a Western release. This, dear friends, is good news. However, we’re going to have to totally pay cash-money for them, which is bad news.
You see, Ura Zelda, an unreleased N64 DD remix of Ocarina of Time, was only ever made in Japanese. To localise it will cost Nintendo, a cost it intends to pass onto us. Fair enough.
And before you start, just remember one thing. This isn’t the first time, nor will it be the last, that we get a worse deal than Japanese gamers, especially where Nintendo is concerned. Just be pleased that it’s due here at all.
