Soul Calibur is possibly one of the few games that helped keep the Dreamcast alive long enough to at least get Ikaruga signed to the console. In short, it ruled big style.
Soul Calibur 2 is now in arcades the world over and is causing quite a storm with it's new interactive 3D arenas and a new tactical feature that allows you to move around mid-combo. Even CVS2 machines have gathered dust since it's arrival.
The home version is being published by EA in Europe, with reports suggesting that Sony will handle the PS2 publishing duties. As of yet, no new release date has been marked, but we imagine it will be sometime around Q1 and Q2 next year.
On another note, the new Ridge Racer title has also been delayed.
