I want one of those!

Tsunami Visual Technologies announced today that they are to release a home version of their popular TsuMo arcade system this Christmas. Depending on model and customisation, the machine will go for around $20,000.

TsuMo is a motion-based game system, which likes to think of itself as a cross between an amusement park ride and a video game. Upgradeable software that supports both interactive and passive motion rides allows new games to be purchased and uploaded via CD upgrades. The game that ships with the system is Mechwarrior 4 Vengeance.

Also available are WWII combat flight sim Crimson Skies and shoot 'em up Beachhead 2000 Special Edition. A third title by the name of Air Raid is to be released in the near future.

Brian Duke, vice president of sales and marketing at Tsunami said, “We wanted gamers to have the chance to own one of these incredible machines that are very popular at venues such as Dave and Busters and other fine entertainment centres and arcades. TsuMo provides an unmatched gaming experience that players cannot get from a standard gaming console.”

Indeed they can't, but only the very wealthiest of kids could expect one of these to drop down the chimney this Christmas.
