Microsoft is celebrating today after having again outsold the GameCube in the UK market.
The big black box, now heavily discounted and packaged with some of the best-value bundles ever seen in the home console market, last week sold 10,271 units, a week-on-week increase of some 42%
By contrast, the GameCube sold 6,657 units, still an increase of 15% compared to the previous week’s sales.
This news has re-ignited talk throughout the industry of a price-cut or new bundle from Nintendo in the run up to the first three-way Christmas battle to be fought by Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo.
