Rareware fanatics will be delighted to know that a couple of games formerly in development for Nintendo GameCube have been confirmed for Microsoft Xbox.
Kameo: Elements of Power and the next instalment in the Perfect Dark series, almost certainly still known as Perfect Dark Zero, were both on show at Microsoft’s X02 shindig in Seville, as was a taster for an as-yet unchristened Conker game.
Kameo’s display consisted of in-game footage, whereas Joanna and Conker were shown as renders, separately of course, “just jumping around” as reported by our man in Spain.
Spring 2003 is the expected release date for Kameo on the Xbox. No provisional dates have been announced for Perfect Dark or the Conker game. Rare is looking to develop at least five games for the Xbox in the next two years, including racing titles, shooters and platformers.
