Capcom All-Star 2D fighter in the works
In what will come as joyous news to the hardcore gaming fraternity, Capcom has revealed that it has a new 2D fighter in the works.

The game has been dubbed Capcom All-Star Clash and will feature only Capcom characters from its massive array of games release over the past couple of decades.

Although little is known about the title at this time, we can confirm that it will be released initially onto the Namco System 246 arcade platform, a coin-op system specifically designed to enable easy PlayStation 2 porting, based as it is around Sony’s home console hardware.

New characters rumoured for inclusion include Arthur from Ghouls ‘n’ Ghosts, various new Final Fight characters and several new versions of some Street Fighter favourites. Evil Ken, perhaps?

We’ll keep you fully updated as this progresses.
