Yet again, Japan’s hardware sales figures make for interesting reading for some, and a worrying glimpse of the Eastern market for others.
The Xbox has again taken a thrashing at retail, selling as it did only 3,218 units. This compares to 33,787 Game Boy Advance units, 5,854 PSOne sales, 8,004 GameCube units and a whopping 68,124 sales of Sony’s massively dominant PlayStation 2.
With the Xbox now suffering from what’s become known as Dreamcast Syndrome, many are wondering how long it will take Microsoft to launch its revision to the machine’s hardware.
