We can reveal that Namco is planning to include both Yoshimitsu and Cervantes in its upcoming 3D fighter Soul Calibur 2.
Exactly how these characters will fit in with Soul Calibur’s somewhat unique style of play will be interesting, though we are assured by Namco’s arcade division that they have made a swift and fluid transition to the free-roaming seminal 3D fighter.
Soul Calibur 2 will start to filter into the arcades over the next few months, with a GameCube version to follow. Other systems are then also likely to get a version, probably by this time next year.
More as it breaks.
