E3 theft hinders Sonic Team development
Sega’s Sonic Team has reported that the development of the online GameCube card battle game will be slowed down, due to five one-off prototype character models being stolen.

The five figures were made by the development team’s artists before the show and were on display at Nintendo’s booth, from where they were stolen. Sonic Team chief Yuji Naka said, “These figures were one of a kind and were our first and most important character work for the new game. We want them back.”

Anyone with any information relating to the figures can write to Sonic Team in confidence at: mail@sonicteam.com
