We can reveal that in the UK, Nintendo have managed to shift an impressive 75,000 GameCube units since last Friday. Gamers also bought, on average, a little over two games with each console.
This impressive start for the GameCube bodes well for Nintendo’s European push and has eased the Xbox further out of the market, taking a firm grip on second place.
Interestingly last week, GameCube software outsold all other platforms, consuming 36.9 percent of the entire games software market.
