Ubisoft has said that it plans to support the PS3 and Xbox 360 "for the foreseeable future" and indicated there are plans afoot for Assassin's Creed on the two platforms."
Assassin's Creed: Unity will be another major entry in the franchise's history," said Ubisoft boss Yves Guillemot in an investor call last night. "The game will showcase the city of Paris with amazing next-gen graphics and will incorporate great new innovations that will be revealed at E3.
"The title will be released this fall on Xbox One, PS4 and PC. We have not disclosed our plan yet for the Xbox 360 and PS3 SKUs, however we have made it clear as a company that we will expect to continue supporting both consoles for the foreseeable future."
Guillemot's words seem to point towards the rumoured last-gen
Assassin's Creed project codenamed
Comet. More, no doubt, at E3...
