Two Japanese Xbox games delayed
Two Japanese Xbox games have been delayed amid an escalating belief that the machine is rapidly becoming a non-viable platform in the territory.

Following colossal price cuts in Europe, the departure of the machine’s co-creator, Seamus Blackley, and being embarrassingly outsold by both the Dreamcast, the Xbox has had a torrid time of late.

The delayed titles are Magides Flight from Takuyo and Petite Copter from MediaQuest. Though both companies have stated that the delays are to assure quality control issues are resolved, the fact that these are relatively small-time games, and the fact that the Xbox has a minuscule userbase in Japan cannot be ignored. If the games were released immediately, they would almost certainly ship at a substantial loss to the publisher.

More as it breaks.
