Price Cut for Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes
A spokesman for Konami has told us that the company is cutting the price of Metal Gear Solid 5: Ground Zeroes on PS4 and Xbox One.

The price is coming down from £39.99 - which is a bit steep for what some people have judged to be a glorified demo for MGS: Phantom Pain. It's coming down to £29.99 and of course there is spin on that:

The price cut is not because market research has indicated that the people won't buy at the inflated price. No, the price cut is almost saintly in its charity. It "aims to provide as many people as possible an opportunity to experience Kojima Productions’ new Fox Engine and the first instalment in the two-part MGS V experience."

You may also have noticed that, "The change in price matches the digital price for the consoles as well as the retail pricing for the physical editions for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 systems. The digital version of the game for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 will remain £19.99."

With the new pricing set for METAL GEAR SOLID V: GROUND ZEROES, KONAMI METAL GEAR SOLID V: THE PHANTOM PAIN, the second and final part to the METAL GEAR SOLID V Experience, will launch on both current and next-gen systems at a later date
