Well Mage me sideways, EverQuest is announced for PlayStation 2!

Sony Computer Entertainment, in a joint announcement with the conspicuously quiet of late Sony Online Entertainment, has announced that it will be releasing Everquest for PlayStation 2, to the absolute shock of no-one, anywhere.

The game, pitched as a prequel to the PC game that has attracted almost half a million subscribers, promises to be a more console-friendly affair, with quick loads and rapid menu access.
