It looks like Bethesda may have plans to release The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.Bethesda's
US website lists the game as "Available now on Xbox 360, PS3, PC, PS4 and XBOX ONE." Although the 'international' English version of the site doesn't say the same thing, the US version was still showing it when we took the screen capture to the right this morning, despite
ONLY SP having got a report up on the listing a good few hours ago.
Adding to the evidence is an email that's apparently gone out trumpeting a Bethesda announcement on Sunday.
While
Skyrim's a little over two years old now, in the age of director's cuts, game of the year editions and endless bundling, this wouldn't be a huge surprise. Square Enix is already doing it with (the admittedly less aged)
Tomb Raider. We'd expect it to be something along the lines of the
Skyrim: Legendary Edition released last year, which included the
Dawnguard,
Hearthfire, and
Dragonborn expansions.
