Square Europe has released new details on the long-awaited European release of Final Fantasy X. By way of an apology for the game’s belated European release, it will hit the shelves with a bonus DVD, containing a whole host of extras tailored to the very specific tastes of the series’ fanbase.
The disc, called Beyond Final Fantasy, will contain the following bits and bobs:

In related news, Final Fantasy XI seems to be shaping up nicely. Now that the beta-testing is complete and the online infra-structure is in place, Square has revealed that each playable character will come equipped with a wealth of costumes to enable your character to stand out from the crowd.
Square also mentioned that in a Pokemon-inspired move, some monsters will only be able to be used at certain times of the day. If you want to catch some of the rarer creatures that inhabit the FFXI world, such as the Phantom, you will have to hang around the Zoromuku Plain at night, and so on…
