24 Hour Video Game Marathon for Children's Hospital
Video game fans and players get a bad press generally. We're a crowd of unaligned folks aged from the youngest to the oldest humans. We're male and female, all skin tones and hairstyles, gay and straight and confused. But we still get a bad press. So it's good to be able to publish a great news story to counter the black propaganda.

A group of gamers over in the USA called 'The Pixelheads' are getting together to play games of all kinds in order to raise money for a children's hospital. We'd love to see The Daily Mail try to spin that one. Details are interesting.

The marathon is not a one off, in fact it's happened every year since 2011. One of the gamers, Michael Brizius, is straight up his initial reasons.

"At the time I honestly did it for selfish reasons. I figured it would be a good reason for my wife to leave me alone and let me play games for a day. “I started getting more involved with it and took it a lot more seriously, and here we are.”
