Rockstar Games and GTAV are getting a lot of love and a lot of money at the moment, with the game becoming the biggest selling unit in UK video gaming history. Not everybody is a fan though.
In an exchange with ace video game writer Chris Shilling on Twitter this morning the IT Crowd writer stated that when it comes to the writers at GTA V and Red Dead Redemption Rockstar, "they're not writers! Classic example of people who think they can write and actually haven't the first clue". He then went on to give an example:

The guy is a utter failure at research and acceptance. The fact the dialogue was portrayed by >ACTUAL< gang members and real thugs offers a vastly realistic presence that no washed out generic hollywood interpretation could ever aspire.
Naughty dog in themselves have a very disjointed and sometimes completely contradicting narrative that grates against the characters own statements that has left 'The Last of Us' being severely un-enjoyable for me.
