Outspoken indie developer Phil Fish has revealed that he will finally be releasing a patch to the Xbox Live Arcade version of platforming hit Fez, almost a year after problems with the game were initially discovered. The move followed Microsoft's recent policy change in regards to charging developers for patching their games. Fish, who runs studio Polytron, has been most vocal about his displeasure about the fee, leading to him backing away from the Xbox platform for sequel
Fez 2.
Now that the fee has been lifted, Fish
confirmed on Twitter yesterday that he was working on a new patch, but warned that the process might "take a few months" to complete.
