While Ubisoft's upcoming Tom Clancy RPG-cum-shooter The Division is currently only confirmed for PS4 and Xbox One, the game's dev team have teased we might see it elsewhere.

“It’s set for release winter 2014 on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, but we’re not ruling out other platforms because we do also read the internet,” said developer Ryan Barnard in an interview with IGN.

Pressed a little on whether this means PC, he said that Ubisoft is interested in "...maximising the potential for a game, so if the audience is there and the desire is there...”

Also promised in the interview is seamless PvP, though details on exactly how this will work weren't discussed.

The game has a companion app which Ubisoft said will run "across all platforms". Using the app players will be able to participate in multiplayer, running a drone from a top-down viewpoint. So that's one extra platform confirmed, kinda-sorta.
