We all asked for it. And now it seems that we're going to finally get it. Electronic Arts has outed a sequel to Mirror's Edge on its support website, following retail listings on Amazon and all but confirming a next-gen return of the cult first-person platformer.EA is expected to make an announcement at E3, which is just over a week away now.
Mirror's Edge 2 has been rumoured to exist for a long time, but it was only yesterday when
Amazon Germany posted a listing for the game on Xbox 360 for €99.99 (likely a placeholder price) when things started looking more concrete.
Amazon Italy followed its German cousin, but with a listing for the game on the next-generation Xbox One console. EA's support page does not mention any platforms. This has all sparked rumours that perhaps EA is positioning the game to be a Microsoft platform exclusive. But we don't know that for sure.
