A Louisiana woman has filed a lawsuit against Nintendo of America, following the death of her son, caused by a convulsive episode he suffered last year. The 30-year old man died after a seizure caused him to fall and hit his head, fatally wounding him.
The unnamed woman is claiming that her son began to suffer from convulsions following the purchase of his first games console, a Nintendo 64, in 1999.
Nintendo, though refusing to comment on the situation, has published epilepsy warnings in all of its game releases since 1991.
