Rumour in Japan has reached fever pitch regarding the future of the Game Boy Advance. It is suggested that the company is poised to release a revised model that will address the problems of the original.
Supposedly dubbed the Game Boy Advance Plus, the new model is said to have brightness and contrast controls, as well as an essential back-light for those difficult-to-see gaming moments.
Nintendo was, as ever, unwilling to comment on this today, but as far as rumours go, this seems highly likely to come to fruition as the existing hardware has come in for heavy across-the-board criticism for having a less than perfect screen.
Stay tuned for updates.
