Now for probably the best news of the generation. Capcom's NES classic, DuckTales, is getting a high definition remastering at the hands of Mighty Switch Force developers WayForward.
DuckTales Remastered will feature brand new, hand-drawn character animations married with the same timeless gameplay that kids of 1989 no doubt fondly remember.
We expect the music to be remixed to suit - although we feel sorry for the poor sod having to update the Moon Zone music - and Capcom confirmed that the cartoon's original voice actors have had their hand in providing dialogue to the game.
"Scrooge's voice actor is now 94 years old but he still came into the studio and did his thing like a pro. The voice work really adds a lot to the package," wrote Capcom's Christian Svensson on the company's community forums. He added that DuckTales Remastered was the result of fan demand, and has been in development for two years.
The game will arrive on Xbox Live Arcade, PlayStation Network and Wii U eShop this Summer. Watch the trailer below.
