Japanese gaming giant Namco has just announced that it will be releasing Soul Calibur 2 in August for the GameCube, PlayStation 2, and Xbox.
The anticipated title is scheduled for launch in Japan with America and Europe following shortly afterwards.
If that wasn’t enough to look forward to, Namco have also announced a Game Boy Advance incarnation of the popular beat-em-up series.
Following the successful Tekken Advance, which co-incidentally has a sequel in the works, Soul Calibur will use a similar game engine to render 3D characters over rotating 2D backgrounds.
We can’t wait for this portable conversion, more details, character rosters and screenshots as soon as Namco release them.
