Quantic Dream founder David Cage is a chap who's very interested in cinematic interactive experiences. It comes as no surprise, then, that his focus right now is on Sony's home console platforms, and not so much the PS Vita handheld."We are really committed to work on PlayStation 3 and the future console, this is really what we want to focus on right now," he said in a recent interview. "This is not against the Vita, this is just what we started working on now, there's no short term plan to work on Vita."
Future consoles, eh? Well, Cage wasn't prepared to talk about the PlayStation 4, which is rumoured to be announced at a big Sony event in New York on February 20, only choosing to say that "We're so impressed by what can still be done with the PlayStation 3. We can't wait to see what can be done with PlayStation 4."
Beyond: Two Souls is still on track for a 2013 release on PlayStation 3. Cage added that the game is "almost in Beta" and that the release date will be announced very soon.
