Fancy having a battle of words? The classic swordfighting scenes from the Monkey Island adventure series have been stitched together in the form of a standalone, free browser game.
The game, created by modder Karza, lifts all of the insult swordfights from Monkey Island 1 and 3, and lets players fight with the razor-sharp wit of Guybrush Threepwood against the uncharacteristically sharp brains of a variety of pirates.
Success in the game depends on matching insults from your opponent with the appropriate response, to get the upper hand in your swordplay. The all-time classic, "You fight like a dairy farmer", for example, is bested with the reply, "How appropriate. You fight like a cow."
