Hidetaka 'SWERY' Suehiro, director of bizarre Twin Peaks-inspired adventure Deadly Premonition, may have some "surprising and amazing news" for his hardcore fans this year. That is, if an end-of-year blog by the developer is anything to go by.The
blog post, in which Suehiro recounts the events of 2012 and thanks 'those that touched his life', includes a little teaser of what may come in 2013. "To all my fans, who keep giving me their never-ending support… I think I’ll have some surprising and amazing news for you next year [2013]," wrote Suehiro.
Deadly Premonition: Director's Cut is heading to the PlayStation 3 in March, but this can't be the only thing cooking in Suehiro's proverbial lab right now. In 2011, the developer expressed an interest in creating a prequel to Francis York Morgan's story, or a unique attempt at a sequel. So it could be that. Or it could be something else entirely - he has worked on projects for Square Enix most recently too.
