If you’re considering buying a new graphics card for your PC to get the most out of today’s demanding titles, hold your horses. Graphics giants nVidia are launching the latest addition to their GeForce range, the GeForce 4, stateside tomorrow.
February 6 is the day that will demote the amazing GeForce 3 technology to middle of the range, making the bottom end of scale card the GeForce 2. The TNT2 graphics card is to be phased out of production.
Jen-Hsun Huang of nVidia said “This is the broadest product launch we've ever had.”
This keeps with nVidia plans to release a new GPU (graphics processing unit) every six months.
