The invite is typically vague, with a colourful image and the phrase, "We've got a little more to show you." Get it? Little? Mini? Ha ha. Oh. Apparently, Apple will be unveiling updates to its Macbook Pro and Mac Mini products as well, making for a merry mini marquee.
Tech pundits had expected the 'iPad Mini' event to be held earlier in the month, and as a result have pegged the October 23 event date as a shrewd move by Apple to counter Microsoft's upcoming Surface tablets.
