Tekken Tag Tournament 2, well we expected it to hit the #1 spot on this week's Gfk Chart-Track chart of UK video game sales. We were wrong. Square Enix Sleeping Dogs holds on to the top position. It's possible that a wait for 12 years since the first
Tekken Tag Tournament came out exclusively on PS2 may have dulled the urge for a new go. It's also possible that, well, it's too old school.
In other news, via
Chart-Track itself:
"
Lego Batman 2: DC Super Heroes (+29%) climbs back up to No3 swapping with
New Super Mario Bros. 2 (-24%) which slips to No4.
London 2012: The Official Video Game (-26%) drops a place to No5 while last week's No2
The Sims 3: Supernatural (-52%) is also down to No6. This places it just ahead of
Guild Wars 2 (-16%) which slips to No7 while
Dead Island GOTY Edition (-2%) holds on to No8 spot. It may not be time for the new FIFA just yet but EA Sports enters the Top 10 with
NHL 13 landing at No9.
A price drop for
Max Payne 3 (+129%) sees Rockstar/Take 2's title propel itself back up from No48 to No10 this week. Outside the Top 10
Battlefield 3 Premium is at No42. The title which includes all 5 expansion packs and premier membership is available on Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and PC.

It means Namco Bandai's new title has to settle for No2 spot. It's been almost a twelve year wait since the original
Tekken Tag Tournament launched back in October 2000 on Playsation 2.
