Red Lynx has announced that it will continue to support its latest digital release, Trials Evolution, with the arrival of a DLC pack titled Origin of Pain. PC users will finally get their prayers answered with the reveal of compilation pack Trials Gold Edition, too.
Origin of Pain will include 36 new tracks - of those, ten multiplayer tracks and a new island that is 4x4 km in size - apparently, that's double the size of the initial area seen in the original Trials Evolution release.
Players will also get their hands on a BMX bike for the very first time, with many of the DLC levels made specifically for pedalling. Those with a penchant for creating levels will be able to use 30 new effects and 100 new objects, including a huge-ass cargo plane and a cannon. 19 new customisable items are included.
For PC users, Red Lynx also announced Trials Gold Edition, which will package Trials HD and Trials Evolution together, along with "some" of the DLC seen in Trials HD's XBLA release. It will be released in 2013. SPOnG asked the studio if the Origin of Pain DLC will be included in Trials Gold Edition, but a representative said that this is unlikely to be the case.
