VIDEO: SEGA Heritage Remakes Coming September, October
Jet Set Radio, NiGHTS into Dreams... and Sonic Adventure 2 lined up.
SEGA's lining up a trio of classic retro titles from the Dreamcast and Saturn era - Jet Set Radio, Sonic Adventure 2 and NiGHTS into Dreams... - for digital re-release over the next two months. A brand new trailer has been released showing how these games look with a bit of HD sparkle.
Jet Set Radio will be released first, later this month. NiGHTS into Dreams... and Sonic Adventure 2 will then follow in October. The HD re-releases, which will be available on PlayStation Network, Xbox Live Arcade and PC via Steam, will also include developer interviews and other special features.
All three games give a good indication of the potential that SEGA can tap into when it comes to releasing future updates. We'll avoid the obvious calls for Shenmue, and instead straight out ask for the Panzer Dragoon series as well as English localisations of all three parts of Shining Force III. That'll work for us.
