Guild Wars 2 lets Sleeping Dogs lie in second place in this week's UK Video Game Chart, as NCsoft's latest MMO debuts at #1. It stands as the second-biggest launch of an MMO that doesn't happen to have 'Warcraft' in the title, behind Star Wars: The Old Republic.
According to Chart-Track, Guild Wars 2 is also the first PC title to snatch the top spot in the UK Top 10 since Football Manager 2011 achieved the same in November 2010. Sales of Square Enix's punchy open-world thriller fell by 38 per cent, leading it to slip into #2.
Electronic Arts scores the only other new entry in the Top 10 this week, with Madden NFL 13 debuting at #7.
