Call of Duty: Black Ops II - Special Editions Priced
Game Group gets some exclusive love
Given the very large possibility just a short while ago that the Game Group could have gone bust, with hundreds of jobs lost, it's rather satisfying for its staff that the games retailer has the exclusive on the Call of Duty: Black Ops II Card Package special edition.
That's the special edition with the actual MQ-27 Dragonfire Drone that you can remotely control (see this video for the awesome). So, this means that we now hae official pricing for both special editions.
According to Game these prices are:
Hardened Edition = £69.99. "The Hardened Edition includes a collectable steelbook case, plus a soundtrack CD, including the theme penned by Nine Inch Nails legend Trent Reznor and some Limited Edition Challenge Coins. There's also some cool in-game items and PlayStation 3 owners even get some exclusive themes for your console, while Xbox 360 players will get exclusive Xbox LIVE avatar goodies."
Care Package (GAME exclusive) = £159.99. "includes all this, plus an even bigger spoil of war - a remote controlled replica of the MQ-27 Dragonfire Drone from the game! Plus the Care Package will come to you in a sturdy replica case to keep everything safe from your enemies!"

Dear god! Who buy this? No doubt Game will plaster their stores with these offers. I've nothing against advertising but for the past six months it seems like they don't bother with any other games aside from BLOPS and FIFA. Maybe if the gave some other titles a push (you know, ones you can buy now) they wouldn't have to rely on two games every year. Oh, and maybe AC3.
