NCSoft has only just released version 3.5 of its hyper-popular MMORPG Aion in Korea, but the studio is already talking about the next big update. Aion v4.0 will bring with it a string of new classes and PvP content.
Two of those three brand new classes were revealed to SPOnG, during a presentation at Gamescom last week. One features a gun for long-distance attacks, while another will be equipped with some form of musical instrument. NCSoft did not spill many more details as the specific character designs have yet to be drawn up.
Either way, the new features will undoubtedly play a very large role in transforming the gameplay mechanics of the MMO. NCSoft developers said that it did not see the recent 3.5 update, titled Tiamaranta's Eye, as a significant enough release to be labelled as 4.0 - despite the fact that it includes a whole new dungeon for level-capped players to traverse, an eagerly awaited boss battle with nemesis Tiamat, exclusive armour and two new battle arenas.

Ever played it ? Its for me the best MMO out there, and yes i tried 100's of MMO's this 1 at least you play it longer then 1 month

Let me guess, you play Runescape or WoW? Aion is one of the best MMO's there is, just because they have slacked off a little lately on the U.S. version because of GW2 doesn't mean it's a bad game. They already have promised to bring back all the old crew and upgrade the game even more to make up for it in the near future, and honestly they already have been. I've been playing since the closed beta, and the only problem I have with it... Is choosing what wings I want and how to make my armor look on any given day.
