Bethesda: Skyrim DLC News for PS3 and PC Coming "Soon"
Publisher promises more information very shortly.
Don't panic, PS3 and PC Skyrimmers! You'll get your Dawnguard DLC "soon", according to Bethesda's Pete Hines. Not "never", as you might have feared.
The publisher's marketing boss had to clarify that Dawnguard won't take as long to arrive on PS3 and PC as some had thought. Microsoft has secured a 30-day window of exclusivity for all Skyrim DLC, but a month after the expansion hit Xbox Live (June 26th) PC and PS3 players are still without Dawnguard.
Hines accidentally caused a panic when he responded to questions with a statement that read, "we have not announced Dawnguard for any other platform, nor given a timeline for any such news." That gave people the idea that the DLC wouldn't be appearing at all.
He's now explained the previous statement on Twitter. "I was simply stating that expecting/demanding something today is unfounded... Not that news is never coming. Just sit tight. We'll have info soon."
