Sony's plans for its purchase of cloud-gaming/streaming company Gakai are to extend beyond its Playstation line-up according to Andrew House, head of Sony Computer Entertainment.According to Mr House, although "Gaikai's services will be focused on Sony's game machines... expanding the technology to other Sony products is absolutely within the frame".
Bravias? Viaos? Cameras? He wouldn't say, he did point out though, "It's recognition on Sony's part that the cloud and cloud streaming technologies are going to have profound and possibly a very positive impact on not only our game business, but also in the way our consumers interact with and obtain content in general."
