Journey Compilation Planned for August Release
PS3-exclusive bundle pack spotted on rental site.
Sony is reportedly preparing a PlayStation 3-exclusive bundle pack titled Journey Compilation.
The game was listed on rental service Gamefly for a brief moment, before it was yanked from public view. It's apparently set for an August release. But what is it?
Well, Journey, if you have a short-term memory, was the fantastic PSN experience from thatgamecompany, released back in March. SPOnG awarded it 10/10, so it's a big deal.
The thing is... Journey is only one game. Therefore, the assumption is that Journey Compilation will include a back catalogue of past thatgamecompany titles as well. The indie studio was responsible for similarly artistic PSN titles flOw and Flower. With thatgamecompany now let loose to work on multiplatform projects, it would make sense that Sony would want to celebrate the studio's PS3-exclusive works.
Sony, for its part, is saying nothing on the matter.
