Over many years of video games coverage it has become blatantly apparent that you can't really set much store by what executives at major companies say in terms of actual facts. The fact we're being presented it with today by Sony is that the troubled Last Guardian didn't make a showing at E3 because of technical issues.Sony Worldwide president Shuhei Yoshida said at the show that, "The team is back in Tokyo is working hard, and there are some technical difficulties that the team is focused on right now. That's why we don't have an update."
All well and good. But surely this means it's development is going to drag on in the age of the PS4? Mr Yoshida had an answer for that too:
"What does that question mean? It is a PS3 game," he told
Eurogamer.
