"I hate tombs". Bit funny for someone like Lara Croft to say. Despite this, Square Enix's E3 2012 trailer for the Tomb Raider reboot is looking absolutely phenomenal, and you can watch it right here and see for yourself why.
Much of the first half of the gameplay trailer is spent covering old(ish) ground - the Croftster, having just escaped a plane crash, is seen trying to find a way out of a dark cavern from which some anonymous captors have held her hostage. We covered this part of the game in depth at last year's E3, but it's great to see it all happening in moving pictures.
Later, the trailer shows off some fresh gameplay scenes, notably a segment where Lara is having to chase a man who has kidnapped a fellow survivor, and a moment where the heroine kills a man attempting to take advantage of her.
The launch date is revealed to be March 5th, 2013. What a wait! SPOnG will be looking at Lara at length during next week's LA trade show, so we'll be sure to come right back with some juicy details. Watch the trailer below.

Doesn't look like it's much about Tomb Raiding. Seems more like a straightforward "Uncharted" style action adventure game.

I'll admit to my excitement. I pretty much held my breath throughout that trailer, but i was sold when she apologised just before shooting the deer.
