Crazy Nintendo and Tecmo-Koei crossover Pokémon + Nobunaga's Ambition will be heading to the West after all. It was thought that it would remain in Japan, but Nintendo has revealed that it will be publishing the game in the US this June under a new name: Pokémon Conquest.
Developed by Tecmo Koei, the game is set in feudal Japan and features the story of a young Warlord who needs to recruit allies to strengthen his kingdom. In this crossover, those allies happen to use Pokémon as soldiers in battle - 200 of the little critters will be included, mostly from the recent Pokémon Black and White games.
Battles take the form of isometric strategic affairs, with six-on-six turn-based action giving you control of your Pokémon on the battlefield and tasking you to use the correct types to inflict maximum damage on your opponents.
Nintendo has not yet announced a release date in Europe. Pokémon Conquest will be hitting the Nintendo DS in the US on Jun 18th.
