More rumours have surfaced surrounding Sony's next home console, reportedly codenamed Orbis - this time surrounding details of the new system's insides. Apparently, the 'PS4' will contain custom chips "based on AMD's A8-3850 APU and Radeon's HD 7670 GPU." But what does it meeeeaaan?
IGN, who cites its own anonymous sources, claims that the inclusion of these chips means that Sony's new home machine will "go toe-to-toe" with rumoured performance specs of Microsoft's next Xbox. The APU will work in tandem with the system's dedicated GPU, reads the report.
