The Daily Mail is in a pickle. It can't possibly continue to campaign against the vile, cruel nature of computer games when these sick devices are rescuing children from paedophiles! The incident in question? A 10-year-old girl managed to trap a molester by using a Nintendo DS to take a photo of him touching her. Ban this sick filth!"John Fisher, 46, was arrested after the brave youngster showed police the picture which officers described as 'indisputable proof' of his guilt," reads the Daily Mail report. "The judge heard Fisher first touched the terrified schoolgirl when she was nine. She told her mother about the attack but nothing was done about it, the court heard."
That was when the girl used her Nintendo DS to capture a further assault. The Daily Mail reports prosecutor Robert Sadd praising the girl's "quick thinking" for using the handheld in such a way. Later, Det Con Annabelle Bunn of the Suffolk Police added further commendation. "Her quick thinking in using her games console to take a photograph of him touching her provided indisputable proof of what had happened."
The image was used in court as "indisputable proof" of the crime, and Fisher has received a sentence of three and a half years, along with a permanent record on the sex offenders registry.
