UK Video Game Chart: SSX Takes the Piste
Electronic Arts' SSX has taken the top spot in this week's UK Video Game Charts, marking a triumphant return for the series after a five-year hiatus. This is despite the fact that we're swiftly entering Spring now and as such a snowboarding game would appear to be utterly pointless. Pointless, we say!

FIFA 12 climbs back up to #2, making it a double-whammy for EA this week. Mario Party 9 enters the Top 10 at #3, which is impressive given the news last week that GAME and Gamestation would not be stocking the game.

Vita titles Uncharted: Golden Abyss and FIFA Football cling on to the Top 10, and Ubisoft's Assassin's Creed: Revelations gets a rather kick shot in the arm, re-entering at #9 from a position of #31 last week. Full chart below.

Snowboarding happens year round, on Glaciers, and in the other half of the world, where it is autumn now. Plus, MarkSPOnG and I are not going snowboarding for another 2.n weeks yet.

surely this is the time to release a snowboarding game... just as the season is finishing off. people either missed out and didn''t make it this year, like me, or those who went and are still buzzing from it. generally snowboarding on the mind!
