We have no objections to this announcement. Capcom has finally killed the silence and revealed that a fifth instalment of the Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney court drama series is in development. And more classic games from the series are heading to mobile devices too.
The new investigation-adventure title was announced as the series celebrated its 10th anniversary. Nothing besides a logo was revealed - platforms and release dates were not mentioned. Ace Attorney games have traditionally found a home on the Nintendo DS, so a 3DS development wouldn't be out of the question.
Capcom also announced Ace Attorney 123HD for iOS and Android platforms. This includes the first three Phoenix Wright games with remastered graphics and tweaked touch controls. A port of the original Phoenix Wright game is already available on the App Store - those who have bought the app already will get the chance to upgrade to the 'HD' version.
