USA: Sony Vita Titles Cheaper Downloaded than Packaged
SCEA to make downloading Vita games a pain for old skool retailers
As it is with Japan so it will be with the USA in terms of discounted software for the soon-to-launch PSP Vita.
According to a Sony spokes-voice, "I can confirm that there will be a discount on the downloadable PS Vita titles from PSN. Exact details have not yet been revealed, but be on the lookout for an announcement in the very near future."
We're yet to hear about Europe.

Makes sense. No retail, no manufacturing, no distribution all taking a slice of the pie. Bet the discount is not proportional to the savings, though.

Form another article I have read it going to be only a $5 (US) discount on the hard copy cost. So not good and if they did wipe out the hard copy market bet the price would soon go up!
