Now, after the release of the teaser trailer, everyone loves the idea of Starbreeze-developed re-imagination of classic PC title Syndicate. Using the phrase 'Deep Dive', the new trailer showcases the kind of missions that you can expect to play with some fellow like-minded agents. Infiltration, standoffs, retrieval of sensitive documents and reconnaissance appears to be the order of the day. Like a heavy-handed spy that everyone knows is coming.
We also see some characters introduced - burly skinhead Tihomir Darius, a kick-friendly chick named Emma Thalos, the nimble Akuma and a mean-looking chap called Aidan Fall. 12 different 'breach applications' (or levels) are promised, along with 9 missions from the original Syndicate, each allowing the four players to use their unique abilities to help each other accomplish their goal.
Syndicate will be released on the 21st February in North America.

I thought that everyone hated the idea of Syndicate as a FPS... nothing against Starbreeze at all. Just because FPS is the dominante genre, doesn't mean we want our classic stategy games (real time or turn based) remade as FPS.
I doubt the sports fans would be too happy is Fifa 2013 was an FPS.
It does look a fairly interesting FPS, but it's not really Syndicate in anything but name.
