Nintendo's gone ahead and announced its release plans for 2012, with Monopoly-inspired Boom Street for the Wii landing first on the 6th January. Kid Icarus: Uprising, the title that was originally intended to be the flagship 3DS game, will finally hit store shelves in March.
January will see the launch of Resident Evil: Revelations on the 27th, along with the Circle Pad Pro which makes your 3DS look like an absolute monster. Mastertronic's 3D Game Collection, SEGA's Crush 3D and Nicalis' VVVVVV are all packed into next month's handheld schedule too.
Konami's Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater 3D is marked for a 'Winter' release, which will mean that someone, somewhere is pegging it for a launch before the end of February. Mario Tennis, Luigi's Mansion 2 and Professor Layton 5 are noted for a 2012 release, along with a 3D Classics remastering of the original Kid Icarus on the NES.
The Last Story has been confirmed to see a release on 24th February 2012 on the Wii, while in March we can also endure the pain of yet more Mario Party with the ninth iteration hitting the shelves. Quirky Japanese game Rhythm Paradise will be arriving next year too. Start saving!
