Sony has officially kicked off its PlayStation Vita advertising campaign in Japan, with a teaser commercial now hitting the company's website and YouTube.
Like most Sony PlayStation commercials, the content isn't exactly your typical game ad. There's no shot of the handheld for a start - just some dude riding a bike, with the date slapped on the screen in huge letters. The PS Vita logo appears at the end of the teaser, with the phrase "The future of games will change."
There are big expectations for the success of the Vita - a recent poll in Japanese tome Famitsu revealed that it was the most wanted piece of kit from gamers by a large margin. Sony's new portable won 374 reader votes compared to 297 for the Nintendo 3DS.
